Starting Oct. 1, the venerable Titleist DT Solo ball will start to disappear, replaced by the new Titleist DT TruSoft.
The DT TruSoft, which will retail for $21.99 per dozen, is designed to enhance the soft feel and low-compression performance that golfers expected with the DT Solo.
To help players achieve more distance off the tee, Titleist gave the DT TruSoft a fast, low compression core (the lowest compression core in the company’s history), along with a soft ionomer cover. The company said the core and cover work together to provide very soft feel at impact, along with low spin on longer shots.
