The scene immediately prompted a fan behind the ropes to shout, “Welcome back, Stevie!”
After a school-year-length retirement, Steve Williams was back at the Open and on the bag of Adam Scott, with whom he shared three years, 35 top-10 finishes and a Masters championship.
It is no secret that 2014 has been rough for Scott, 34.
