CHARLOTTE, N.C. – J.B. Holmes is back at Quail Hollow Club, site of a one-shot victory last spring that completed his hard-fought comeback from not one, but two surgeries on his brain, and he’s … excited, yes. But he’s tired, too.
“I’m going to take the next two weeks off,” Holmes said Tuesday. “I’m going to take three of the next four off. . . . Not the best decision, I feel, the Tour did with having The Players right in front after coming back from San Francisco. I think that kind of showed last week.
