Tiger Woods officially committed Friday to play in the 2015 Frys.com Open.
The 39-year-old will be on hand for next month's event, the PGA Tour's season opener for the 2015-16 campaign, along with World No. 2 Rory McIlroy.
Woods and McIlroy are part of the eight-player group that took part in the 2012 Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, an international event that coincided with the Frys.com Open. The "Turkey Eight" - Woods, McIlroy, Justin Rose, Hunter Mahan, Matt Kuchar, Lee Westwood, Webb Simpson and Charl Schwartzel - signed a waiver with the PGA Tour that allowed their foreign excursion as long as they agreed to play the Frys.
