Tiger Woods' second round at the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open did not get off to an ideal start Friday afternoon at Torrey Pines in San Diego and ended in a similar fashion to plunge the 44-year-old down the leaderboard entering moving day.
The 15-time major champion shot a 71 to follow up his 69 in the opening round. Overall, Woods shot an even-par round and stands at a four-under overall in his first PGA Tout start of the new calendar year.
Ryan Palmer shot 70 spots up the leaderboard to take sole possession of the lead at 10 strokes under par.
