Message from John Daly: He cares.
After knocking three straight shots into Lake Michigan on the seventh hole today, Daly sent his 6-iron in next — which turned out to be a terrific souvenir for a boy in a boat near the shore at Whistling Straits.
Daly made a 10 on the hole, en route to a 10-over 82.
Speaking in the parking lot after his round, Daly said he figures he'll get fined and called the club throw more of a reflex than anything.
