LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – For an event that predicates itself on camaraderie and the fun of it all, the PGA Junior League Golf Championship had the feeling of a grudge match in Sunday's final.
"Win or lose, it's raw emotion you let out (there)," said Team Georgia Captain Tom Joyce Jr. "These kids have spent eight months working together as a team and you just want the best for them."
That hard work and dedication may have produced the craziest final in the tournament's five-year history, as the title was decided by an astonishing pair of putts in a playoff.
