Kris Tamulis won the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in her 186th start on the LPGA. In this era of youth in women’s golf, it’s rare for a player to grab her first LPGA victory in her 11th year on tour at age 34. The surprisingly relaxed Tamulis wasn’t sure what to do after she signed her scorecard and waited to see whether former World No. 1 Yani Tseng or hungry Austin Ernst would force a playoff.
