PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Steve Stricker spent most of his past seven years as a venerable ATM, making money at virtually every PGA Tour stop and paying little attention to the cutline.
From 2010 to 2014, Stricker played in 81 events and missed only one cut, making nearly $17.2 million during the five years.
Since then, Stricker has missed five cuts in 13 events starting in 2015, including his third consecutive missed cut after a third-round 75 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Saturday. It's the first time that Stricker, who will turn 49 this month, has missed three consecutive cuts since mid-2008.
