Steve Stricker will lead the U.S. team for the first time, while Nick Price will have his third go as International captain, in the 2017 Presidents Cup.
The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon. The matches will take place Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at Liberty National in Jersey City, N.J.
Stricker, an assistant captain last year, will be taking over for Jay Haas, who led the U.S. to a 15 1/2 - 14 1/2 victory in South Korea. Price was on the losing end as captain in both 2013 and '15.
