Stone moves in to lead at South African Open despite more storms

Brandon Stone moved in to a share of the lead he BMW SA Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni at Glendower Golf Club as storm threats caused play to be suspended for the day.

Stone was 4-under through 11 holes with five birdies to share the lead with Daniel Brooks.

Round three will re-start at 7:30 a.m. in South Africa, and round four will start at 8:30 a.m. Players will keep their round three tee times and groupings.

Two strokes back of Stone and Brooks sits Keith Horne after playing the front nine at even-par.

Stone, 22, is one of his native South Africa's top prospects and has two top tens in 27 appearances on The European Tour.
