RUMFORD, R.I. — After capping an All-American senior season at Vanderbilt, Hunter Stewart decided to switch things up a little bit this summer.
The most notable change: his facial hair. For three years under head coach Scott Limbaugh, the Commodores had to adhere to a no-facial-hair policy. Now graduated, Stewart has let it grow.
His game has also evolved. Stewart was arguably the most consistent player in the country last season, making few mistakes and seemingly always shooting in the high 60s or low 70s.
“A little more aggressive now,” Stewart said.
