Steven Bowditch becomes first player to not break 80 in history of WGC

DORAL, Fla. - Australian Steven Bowditch never gave up over four days at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, that was the good news.

The bad was that for four days Bowditch never broke 80 with rounds of 81-80-80-84, which added up to 37-over-par or 325 strokes.

It’s the first time in the history of the WGC’s that a player has not broken 80 in any round.

“It's the Blue Monster for a reason,” Bowditch said after his final round that he completed in two hours, fifteen minutes. “I’m not driving it the greatest here, and it's all over if you can’t drive it.
