NASSAU, Bahamas – After a third-round 66 at the Hero World Challenge, Henrik Stenson moved all the way up into a tie for second. But facing a seven-shot deficit in the year’s final event, the Swede is attacking Sunday’s finale with a unique approach.
“One round away from Christmas break,” Stenson said. “So try to finish off in good style and enjoy that break, because I’ve had a great year and I’m looking forward to some time off.”
Stenson’s 2016 campaign has undoubtedly been the best of his career, highlighted by his Open Championship win, Race to Dubai title, and Olympic silver medal.
