EDISON, N.J. – Henrik Stenson is one of the PGA Tour’s most methodical players. He’s also one of the game’s most clever players.
So on Friday, after a second-round 66 moved him into a share of the lead at The Barclays, he was asked if, like Bubba Watson, he has decided to forgo the measured approach at Plainfield Country Club.
“Bubba needs to hit a lot of drives because he can't really hit it that far. So he needs to get it out there. Obviously a different issue for me,” he smiled.
