It has been known since last March that a 2015 Palmer Cup participant would get the opportunity to play in the PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Now, we know who that player will be.
Stanford's Maverick McNealy revealed the news Tuesday that he was selected out of a group of 20 amateurs who competed in last year's team match-play competition that annually matches college golfers from the U.S. against their European counterparts.
Excited to confirm my spot in @APinv today- thanks @ArnoldPalmerCup for the incredible opportunity. Can't wait to get back out there!
