Paige Spiranac’s highly publicized pro debut lasted just two days.
The Internet sensation missed the cut at the Ladies European Tour’s Dubai Masters after rounds of 77-79. At 12-over 156, she finished in a tie for 102nd in the 107-player field, eight shots adrift of the cut line and 22 behind leader Shanshan Feng.
After a nervy first round, Spiranac mixed two birdies with seven bogeys and a double during her second round.
Spiranac was given a sponsor exemption into the event in large part because of her social-media popularity, as the former San Diego State player has more than 500,000 followers across Twitter and Instagram.
