PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The PGA Tour announced Friday that Jordan Spieth and Daniel Berger have been named Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively, for the 2014-15 season.
Spieth’s award comes as no surprise after a historic campaign that included five wins, two majors and the season-long FedEx Cup title. He became the first player since Tiger Woods in 2002 to win both the Masters and the U.S. Open, and he joined Woods (2005) and Jack Nicklaus (1973) as the only players to log top-four finishes in all four majors.
