Jordan Spieth has confirmed a return trip to the Australian Open, where he won last year to spark his torrid run to the top of the golfing world.
Spieth fired a final-round 63 to win by six shots at the Australian Golf Club, and the 21-year-old will return to Sydney to defend his title according to a tournament release. This year's event is scheduled for Nov. 26-29.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to return to Sydney," Spieth said as part of the release. "I had a fantastic time in Australia. I can't wait to come back and hopefully defend the Stonehaven Cup.
