ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – World No. 1 Jordan Spieth got back to work on Tuesday as he prepared for this week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship with a nine-hole practice round.
Spieth, who won his last start at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions by eight strokes, arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday night and said he planned to conserve energy as he prepared to play three tournaments in four weeks on three different continents.
The 22-year-old plans to play the Singapore Open next week followed by the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am the second week of February.
