Spieth playing Augusta during holiday break

NASSAU, Bahamas – End the year with a bang? That would be nice. Jordan Spieth, however, is just ready for the conclusion. Period.

“Really ending the calendar year is what I’m focused on. I’m ready for some rest,” he said Thursday after a 5-under 67 at the Hero World Challenge.

“I would like to continue rounds like today the rest of the week or even improve on it, and a win would be a fantastic exclamation point, but that’s what I said about the Tour Championship and this is just fine.
