INCHEON, South Korea – After two days, the golf world will finally get the showdown everyone had been waiting for.
U.S. captain Jay Haas drew first for Saturday morning’s final foursome match, sending Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson out; and International captain Nick Price countered with Jason Day and Charl Schwartzel in a showdown between the world’s top two players.
Spieth and Day traded titles coming down the stretch of this season and the Australian briefly gave Spieth a run for the PGA Tour Player of the Award, and many expected to see the duo duel this week in South Korea.
