The Hero World Challenge announced its field Wednesday, with defending champ Jordan Spieth and world No. 1 Jason Day headlining the 18-man event.
Spieth serves as the tournament's defending champ, having won in a 10-shot rout last year in Windermere, Fla. Day is currently at home in Ohio with his wife, Ellie, who is expected to give birth to the couple's second child this month. His appearance at Albany will be his first competitive start since the Presidents Cup.
Spieth and Day will be joined in the Bahamas by Zach Johnson, meaning all of the major winners from this year will be present.
