DORAL, Fla. –– Still bruised and beaten – mentally, at least – by his stunning missed cut at the Northern Trust Open, Jordan Spieth had the perfect antidote.
Some down time at home, then a few days at Augusta National.
“Very, very special,” Spieth said of a March trip he has made the last few years. “It was again this year.”
It might have been even more special this time around, given that now they’re calling him “champ.”
“It’s a different feeling on the grounds having won that tournament,” he said. “Like I’ve said a million times now, it was a dream come true for me.
