CHASKA, Minn. – Europe’s new Spanish combo put up a vital half point in a dramatic comeback Saturday in the final morning foursomes match to keep momentum turning Europe's way.
Four down with six holes to play, Sergio Garcia and Rafa Cabrera Bello teamed to square their match with Americans Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed, taking a half point when a loss seemed a foregone conclusion.
The Euros won the session with the half point, 2½ to 1½.
After going up 4-0 in the first session, the Americans moved to Saturday afternoon fourballs leading just 6½ to 5½.
