ST. ANDREWS, Scotland — In-Kyung Kim of South Korea held her nerve and claimed her first L.P.G.A. major title with a final-round 71 at the Women’s British Open on Sunday.
Kim, who had entered the final round with a six-shot lead, finished two shots ahead of Jodi Ewart Shadoff of England, who shot a 64. Michelle Wie, Caroline Masson and Georgia Hall shared third place, five shots back.
Kim, 29, lost another major, the 2012 ANA Inspiration, when she missed a one-foot putt on the final hole.
“I cannot describe my feelings,” she said Sunday, adding: “I got really inspired playing in Scotland.
