IRVING, Texas – Brendon Todd is back to defend his title at the AT&T Byron Nelson, but he didn’t seem too bullish about his chances to join the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead and Tom Watson as repeat champions.
“I feel good coming into the week,” he said. “I feel like my game has been pretty solid this year.”
Then came the but. ... “I played nine this morning and the golf course is totally under water, not a dry spot on the fairway. ... It couldn’t be more different this year than it was last year,” Todd said.
