Another flawless day greeted Jenny Shin in Japan, and she used her good fortune to jump to the top of the leaderboard.
Shin birdied her first hole and went off from there in a bogey-free 65 that moved the Korean to 13 under and one ahead through two rounds at the Toto Japan Classic. Shin also went bogey-free in her first-round 66 at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club.
The 54-hole event is the third-to-last tournament on the LPGA's 2015 calendar. Shin's one-shot margin ahead of the final round could most be attributed to her work off the tee.
