Golf fans in the U.S. will have plenty of chances to get familiar with Lowry's name. The 28-year-old Irishman sunk a birdie on the closing hole to win the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday and earn his PGA Tour card for the next two seasons.
"I can't believe it," Lowry said. "I've been playing good golf for most of the year and things just haven't been going my way.
