GURNEE, Ill. – Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Candie Kung were the UL International Crown’s unsung stars.
They’re the only players who went undefeated all week.
Shadoff went 3-0-1 for England.
Kung went 3-0-1 for Chinese Taipei.
Shadoff capped her week Sunday defeating Chinese Taipei’s Ssu-Chia Cheng, 1 up.
Kung capped hers defeating Japan’s Ai Suzuki, 2 and 1.
Shadoff is building some nice momentum for her return home to England next week for the Ricoh Women’s British Open. She tied for eighth at the U.S. Women’s Open two weeks ago.
