Sergio Garcia has reapplied for membership to the DP World Tour with an eye on being eligible for next year's European Ryder Cup team.

Garcia, 44, resigned from the European tour last year after racking up more than $1 million in fines after joining LIV Golf in 2022. According to GOLF.com, Garcia has fully repaid those outstanding fines and will serve the necessary tournament suspensions in order to be eligible to compete on the DP World Tour in 2025.

The tour's season begins this week in Australia, meaning Garcia's suspension time will commence immediately.
