K.J. Choi is a senior major champion for the first time after he cruised to victory in the Senior Open Championship at Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland.
Choi carded a two-under 70 to finish at 10 under for the event, two shots better than Richard Green. This is only his second win on the PGA Tour Champions circuit.
Paul Broadhurst (six under) and Stephen Ames (three under) placed third and fourth respectively. Arjun Atwal, Ángel Cabrera, Padraig Harrington, Steven Alker, Miguel Ángel Martín, Bernhard Langer and Thomas Bjørn all tied for fifth at two under.
