The arrest of world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler at the PGA Championship this past Friday remains the talk of the golf world, and now the situation is under even more of a microscope.
Per Josh Wood of the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Louisville Metro Police will investigate whether the arresting officers followed the department's policies when Scheffler was taken into custody for allegedly failing to comply with an LMPD officer's command to stop his vehicle.
"I think that's critically important that we do that, not just in high-profile events like took place on Friday, but on a regular basis," Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said at his weekly press conference on Tuesday.
