Scottie Scheffler will miss the start of the 2025 PGA Tour season due to a hand injury.

"On Christmas Day while preparing dinner, Scottie sustained a puncture wound to the palm of his right hand from a broken glass," Scheffler's agent, Blake Smith, explained on Friday (via PGATour.com). "Small glass fragments remained in the palm which required surgery. He has been told that he should be back to 100 percent in three to four weeks."

The No. 1 player in the World Golf Ranking withdrew from The Sentry due to the injury but is still scheduled to compete in The American Express, which will begin on Jan.
