The conditions during the third round of the British Open have not been friendly to the field, and Scottie Scheffler is no exception.
The star said Saturday's rainy and windy conditions made Round 3 one of the most difficult days of golf he's ever played.
"I think that was probably the hardest nine holes that I'll ever play," Scheffler said, per CBS Sports' Kyle Porter. "I shouldn't say ever, but it's definitely the hardest that I've played to this point, I think."
Despite the weather, Scheffler has stayed near the top of the leaderboard as he's currently in eighth place, even with par.
