MEXICO CITY – Adam Scott is technically this week’s defending champion at the World Golf Championship, but the event certainly doesn’t feel familiar.
The WGC moved this year to Mexico City from Doral, where Scott edged Bubba Watson by a stroke in 2016, and has a new title – WGC-Mexico Championship.
“It's nice to go back to the course that you played really well on, but it's just another week and we're all learning the course, kind of starting on an even playing field,” Scott said.
Scott also doesn’t feel as confident with his game as he did at this point last year.
