Schniederjans surges on moving day at RBC Canadian Open

Leaderboard

Ollie Schniederjans earned the right to collect his first check as a professional by making the cut Friday at the RBC Canadian Open. On Saturday, the former No. 1 amateur took it a step further, surging up the leaderboard with a 6-under 66.

At the end of his round, the Georgia Tech alum was in the top 10 at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, 40 spots ahead of where he stood Friday night. Schniederjans closed his round with three straight birdies, hitting putts of 3, 20 and 12 feet to shoot 66.
