Former top-ranked amateur Ollie Schniederjans is one of six players who have received sponsor invitations to next month's Farmers Insurance Open.
Schniederjans had a decorated career at Georgia Tech and finished T-12 as an amateur earlier this year at the Open Championship. He turned pro after that event, and while he didn't earn enough FedEx Cup points to qualify for the Web.com Tour Finals last season, Schniederjans earned his Web.com Tour card via Q-School earlier this month.
Schniederjans has made the cut in each of his first three PGA Tour starts this season, with his best result a T-38 finish at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
