JACKSON, Miss. — Sanderson Farms has agreed to remain the title sponsor of Jackson's PGA Tour event through 2026.
PGA Tour chief of operations Andy Pazder said during Wednesday's announcement that the commitment by Sanderson Farms through 2026 is the longest for a title sponsor on the PGA Tour.
Sanderson Farms, which is the third largest chicken producer in the country, started sponsoring the tournament in 2013. The event moved to the Country Club of Jackson in 2014.
The tournament has a long history in Mississippi, starting in Hattiesburg in 1968. It's gone through four title sponsors since 1999.
