So Yeon Ryu claimed the Rolex Annika Major Award on Sunday as the best overall performer in the LPGA’s five major championships this year.
Ryu won the points-based award named for Annika Sorenstam by winning the ANA Inspiration at year’s start, then going T-14 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, T-3 at the U.S. Women’s Open, T-43 at the Ricoh Women’s British Open and T-40 at the Evian Championship.
“I'm so honored to have this award, especially with it named after one of the greatest women golfers in our golf history,” Ryu said.
