AVONDALE, La. – At least they played for a few hours Sunday before another potentially lengthy weather delay at the Zurich Classic.

The first group out has completed 14 holes in the third round. The final group, which included 36-hole leader Brian Stuard, is through five holes.

Play was suspended at 11:09 a.m. ET with a line of strong storms approaching TPC Louisiana, which had already received three inches of rain since Wednesday. Seven of the last eight rounds at this tournament have been suspended at least once because of weather.

Any stoppage of play Sunday meant that the tournament would be pushed into Monday.
