SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – The third round of the PGA Championship was suspended at 2:15 p.m. ET Saturday because of inclement weather.

The delay was expected to last at least an hour.

Despite a forecast that called for an 80-percent chance of afternoon thunderstorms, the PGA of America sent players off late and in twosomes, with the final group scheduled to tee off at 2:55 p.m.

Thirty-seven players have completed their third rounds, with Kevin Kisner and Padraig Harrington posting 65s. Five groups have yet to start their third round.

Play was delayed for 41 minutes Friday after heavy rain caused flooding on the greens and in the fairways at Baltusrol.
