Andres Romero is set to return to work this week at the Web.com Tour Championship, less than eight weeks after injuring his hand at the Barracuda Championship.
Romero broke a bone in his right hand during the third round at Montreux Golf & Country Club when he punched a sign on the 15th tee box.
Romero underwent surgery in Argentina in early August and, according to his manager Chris Castleberry, he started hitting golf balls two weeks ago.
“We’ve been surprised with the speed he’s been able to come back,” Castleberry said.
