FORTY-SEVEN ISN'T OLD ANYMORE. At least not in golf. I remember when it was.
The golf world has another example in Rod Pampling, the 47-year-old Australian who won for the first time on the PGA Tour in a decade. Pampling opened with a 60 and closed with a 65 to register a two-shot victory at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
Pampling's impressive performance included sinking a 30-foot birdie putt on the final green at TPC Summerlin.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
From 2006 to 2016, Rod Pampling is again a winner on the PGA TOUR!
