NORTON, Mass. — If Rickie Fowler did not have two more rounds to play at TPC Boston, he would be perfectly at home at Jumptown, a sky-diving club in Orange, Mass., about an hour west of Boston. Fowler is an adrenaline seeker, and when his golf game is in high gear, the rush he gets rivals any feeling he experienced on the motorcycle dirt tracks or Pacific wave sets of his youth.
Golf’s grandest stages do not give Fowler stage fright. In 2014, he finished in the top five in each of the four majors. This year, he won the Players Championship in extra holes after finishing six under par on the last six holes of regulation.
