According to a report from Sky Sports, the all-male Muirfield Golf Club will stay that way.
In a tweet sent out Wednesday morning, Sky Sports said that Muirfield constituents voted to continue to disallow female membership. A two-thirds majority was needed via postal balloting to alter the rules.

Muirfield, home to the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers in Gullane, Scotland, has hosted 16 Open Championships, dating back to 1892.
