On the same day Phil Mickelson went under the knife, his caddie did the same, Golf Digest reports.
Jim Mackay had both knees replaced on Oct. 19, the same day his boss had sports hernia surgery, according to the report.
"We didn't even talk about it. We were both in a hurry to get it done, and it just happened to be the same day," Mackay told Digest. "The next day we were texting back and forth, 'So, how are YOU doing?'"
Mackay has reportedly advanced from using a walker to using a cane and expects to be back on the bag for Mickelson’s 2017 debut at the CareerBuilder Challenge, beginning Jan.
