Two 2014 Ryder Cup champions fell on Thursday in Group 10, with Bernd Wiesberger and Tommy Fleetwood taking wins.
Fleetwood took his match with Jamie Donaldson to 21 holes and won with a birdie at the 21st hole. Wiesberger stood strong through a hot start by Sergio Garcia, surging on the back nine to defeat the Spaniard. All four golfers stand at 1-1 heading into Friday's play.
