Few could have predicted Dicky Pride's victory at the Web.com Tour's WinCo Foods Portland Open, the circuit's regular season finale.
At least one man did: Dicky Pride himself.
The 46-year-old moved from 40th to fifth on the Web.com Tour money list with the win and secured his 2015-2016 PGA Tour card as one of the Top 25 on the money list at the end of the regular season.
None of this seemed likely for a man who hadn't won any tournament since the 1994 St. Jude Classic. He had also put together just a single top-10 in his previous 17 starts
But Pride had believed in his abilities to win on the Web.
