BURLINGTON, Iowa – Fifteen teams from 15 conferences are set to clash in the sixth annual Golfweek Conference Challenge. LSU, the 2015 NCAA champs, highlights one of the most diverse fields in college golf.
“I think it’s terrific,” said Tigers coach Chuck Winstead. “It’s fun from a coach’s perspective to see teams from across the country. I think it’s fun for players, too.”
The competition takes place Sept. 25-27 at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.
“In a way, it almost feels like a regional,” said Iowa coach Tyler Stith, the tournament’s host.
